Why I started a Vanessa Fan-site

It was midnight when I first heard of Vanessa Hudgens’ voice because that time, I was watching High School Musical on our local TV network. I was hooked immediately by her beauty of simplicity and by her passion for dancing & singing. On the next day, I woke up early, opened my computer and searched for her name. I searched everything and looked for some projects she had before and watched them all online. It was a big surprise when I knew that she is half-Filipino and that her mom is from the Philippines, just like me.

Then I realized that it isn’t enough to just collect stuffs and watch her movies. So I thought of something fun and interesting that would really show how much I love her. It was then 2007 when I made a fan page dedicated to Vanessa in Myspace knowing that before, Hollywood celebrities had pages there because Twitter & Facebook are not yet famous by that time. I never knew that my page will be known to the other fans of Vanessa and soon, many fans wanted to be a member of our fan page so I searched on ways on how to make a website. Later on, I got the chance to get hosted by a Fansite Hosting and had my own website naming it as Vanessa Hudgens Philippines – The First Original Philippine Fansite. Few years later, I had a co-admin from Philippines also who helped me in making our fansite better by having our own fanlisting.

I hope that someday, I will be able to meet and talk to Vanessa Hudgens even just once because that would be one of the biggest & greatest gifts a fan would ever receive. I also wish to have autographs from her in every posters, stuffs and cds I collected but I know that it’s just too much. But just hearing her saying my name will melt my heart. No perfect word can ever describe my passionate love for Vanessa Hudgens. Through ups and downs, I will be on your side.
