The most popular girl in school teams up with the geeky new kid to form a rock band. Their dream: Win the country’s biggest musical competition. But can this ragtag high school band out-rock the best of the best and win the ultimate battle of the bands? “Bandslam” stars Vanessa Hudgens, Aly Michalka, Gaelan Connell, and Lisa Kudrow.
Vanessa plays Sa5m (The “5″ is silent.), the coolest girl in school who just happens to be a wicked guitar player with an amazing voice. Together with her bandmates, Sa5m faces her fears head-on and dares to make her dreams come true.

Bandslam’s the best! I love the soundtracks & its plotline! Also, it was well-acted! I’m a big fan of Aly and Aj (or currently known as 78violet), too… and so I was soooo glad Aly was there. Not to mention the short appearance of David Bowie was the best!
